For Clayton's 30th Birthday we decided to invite some family and friends over for swimming and food. It was really fun and we had a great turn out. We were a little nervous about the weather since it hasn't been as hot as usual in Vegas for this time of year. It had been windy for a few days but we were blessed to have the sun come out and the wind stop for the hours of the party. For the food we had pulled pork sandwiches, broccoli salad, 7 layer bean dip, and fruit kabobs. I made the pork for the first time ever and it turned out!! The cake was a little more complicated.... Clayton had told me that he wanted a chocolate cake with whipped chocolate frosting so I called Sam's Club and placed an order for a full sheet cake. When I got there to pick it up they told me that there was a problem and the cake wasn't exactly as I had ordered it. They then pulled out a small white cake with white frosting!!!! The worst part is that they expected me to take it and pay for it!! I couldn't believe it. Less than an hour until the party starts and I have no cake. They could tell I was very upset and somehow fixed my order and we got the right cake just in time. Boy was it worth it... Yummy!!!
